Interview 3 Question Approval

I plan on interviewing a judge that judges all over the country. Meg Schulman also does many clinics which validates her credibility. I have had the honor to talk to her about my performance many times and I find she is very helpful.
  1. When a competitor first walks into the ring, what is the first thing you notice? Why?
  2. Why do you believe so many riders make mistakes in the show ring?
  3. What is your favorite style of rider? Why?
  4. What is your favorite way to test riders in a work-off?
  5. Why do you think that test makes the top rider stand above the rest?
  6. How much do you think focus and concentration factor into a successful round?
  7. What is your favorite type of class to judge? Why?
  8. What do you think is the best thing a rider can learn from their trainer?
  9. What do you think is the best thing a rider can learn from their horse?
  10. What do you feel is the most important element to a successful round?
